The Limit of the Lateral Fundamental Frequency and Comfort Analysis of a Straddle-Type Monorail Tour Transit System

The straddle-type monorail tour transit system is a light overhead steel structure, and the lateral stiffness generally low. Based on practical project, we tested acceleration under full load conditions, its running stability ride were assessed. Then, impact pedestrians some working conditions was measured analyzed. Furthermore, influence different parameters fundamental investigated. results showed following: (i) vehicle’s riding good. poor due weak which affected by human-induced vibration. (ii) comprehensive response structure increased with increase walking frequency, number people or weight, growth speed slowed down. (iii) most sensitive change column diameter. (iv) recommended value for spans put forward. lower 15 m span 5.0 Hz, an 18 it 3.5 25 2.8 Hz.
